Set of 6 Recycled Newspaper Coasters

Set of 6 coasters in a matching holder made by a social enterprise in Sri Lanka. These coasters are made of eco-friendly recycled newspaper which is hand rolled and painted in vibrant colours. The social enterprise business employs homeworking artisans to help people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to provide for their families. The use of recycled newspaper helps to reduce the environmental damage caused by the overuse of plastics.

Care Guide:

Each piece is handmade from hand-rolled and dyed recycled newspaper, carefully glued, pressed, or woven together to create quirky designs.

• These coasters shouldn’t be used for anything hot or wet.
• If the paper tears, a layer of clear glue will keep it from tearing any further. For any marks, dust, or dirt, wipe gently with a soft cloth.
• To remove tea marks from the recycled newspaper coasters, gently blot the stains with a damp cloth and let them air dry.
