Monday 17th September from about 3.30 – 5.30pm

Kilombero farmers from Malawi are in the UK promoting their rice and other products from Malawi. We have managed to secure a place on their tour and they will be talking to students at Fir Vale school in the afternoon and then coming to the shop to meet us and hopefully some of the people who have sold the rice through the 90kg challenge.

Please come along and chat to the farmers and find out more about how we are helping to change their lives. We hope to have cooked rice available for people to taste – along with some of the sauces which we also sell. This event will be promoted as widely as we can and I will also be emailing the churches and schools who have taken on the rice challenge and hopefully we will get people to come in. Anything you can do to spread the word about this event would be very helpful.
