Artizan International “Intricate Butterfly” Card

A beautiful card decorated with an intricately cut out butterfly.

These cards from Artizan International feature exquisite Ecuadorian fabrics set in a premium card made from recycled paper and banana leaves. All card designs come in a range of colours, are blank inside and are sent with a brightly coloured envelope. The fabric used varies, making each card unique and is signed on the back by the person who made it.

Due to fluctuating stock levels we are unable to guarantee the colour of the card you will receive, so will aim to send out gender neutral colours where possible! Artizan International’s project In Ecuador works in Santo Domingo province, where they have established a training & social enterprise centre for people with a wide range of disabilities.

As in other parts of Latin America, differently-able people are often to be found on the margins of their society, excluded from employment and therefore consigned to a life of poverty. These are bright, capable people who long for the same chances as everyone else.  Making these cards provides secure and dignified employment.
