Just Trade Plated Essentials Hoop Earrings

Strips of brass rod are skilfully hammered to create the subtle light-catching texture and round form of each piece. The earrings are finished with a layer of plating in either sterling silver or 22ct gold.

Handmade by the women at the Flowering Desert Project in India, which provides training and fairly paid work for women from rural communities in Tamil Nadu, Southern India. This project has seen the community flourish as more women are equipped to make choices and improve the quality of life for themselves and their families.
