Vurchoo – jewellery with purpose

Founded by Alex Angel and launched in 2015, Vurchoo is an ethical jewellery brand that’s core focus is helping children around the world access education by designing beautiful and meaningful jewellery.

At Vurchoo they believe that good ethics shouldn’t be an excuse for poor design, so they aim to create jewellery that has lasting appeal not just something people wear once and then forget about.

Vurchoo also believe in being open about how and where their jewellery is made, they make sure to work with carefully chosen workshops that meet their high standards for both ethics and quality. They have workshops in the UK, Spain, and Thailand which are each responsible for helping create their unique pieces.

Vurchoo is a member of BAFTS fair trade network UK and are committed to the ten principles of fair trade. They share 10-25% of their profits with organisations dedicated to helping children and communities through education and care such as Teach a Man to Fish, H.O.P.E Cambodia, OYT South, and Irish Cancer Society.

Their promise is to be clear about giving, putting education first, having long term impact, and continuing to improve and grow. It’s not just jewellery it’s giving potentially life-changing support to those who need it.
